1.Can you give us an update on what has been going on with the band since the recording and release of the new album?

Basically, we are trying to spread the word about the album and answering such questions fairly often. :) We were pretty exhausted after the release, because we had some rough times during the recording, when the guitar- and bass-players left. And the mixing was pretty hard too, because we wanted to create a unique sound. But now we are making a lyric video and also think about a production of a music video. And of course we started to work on some new songs!

2.So far the band has released 2 singles and a full length album, can you tell us a little bit more about your musical sound?

Without a shadow of doubt the symphonic part is the most significant in our sound. We have a very emotional and diverse vocals. And these are supplemented by powerful riffs and driving drums. But the most important for us is creating beautiful music.

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music? We believe, that every piece of art ever created on Earth is about love, life or death. So our lyrics is a mixture of these three themes. But everyone can find something important for themselves.

4.I know that the band name means 'Northern Lights' in Finnish, what was the decision to use a Finnish instead of a Russian name for the band?

Oh, we can assure you that a Russian name would be much worse! :) It would be Северное Сияние (Severnoye Siyaniye) :) The Finnish legend about the Northern Lights is very beautiful. And the lights itself are magical and astonishing!

5.What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also how would you describe your stage performance?

The best show so far is definitely the online release party of "Hear Me". We played all songs from the album along with some covers. And also we had a chat with the audience. It's very exciting!

6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the new release?

Not yet. Now the line-up is incomplete. And actually, our music is more popular in Europe and America than in Russia. But touring abroad is quite difficult for a young band.

7.The album was released on Arcus Records, can you tell us a little bit more about this label?

As a matter of fact, Arcus Records is our studio, our friend Anton "Zeuse" Ragulin (he played the violin parts for the album) runs it. So virtually the album is self-released.

8.On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of symphonic metal?

We are very pleased with the feedback, our album is warmly received by people all around the world. Also the average review rating of the album is about 90%. It's just amazing!

9.Where do you see the band heading into musically during the future? We are planning to add even more classical elements to our sound, but it will be done in a very unusual way... ;)

10.What are some bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

We had pretty different musical background, and various bands and styles affected different parts of our music. For instance, sometimes you can clearly hear that the drums were influenced by Metallica, or that the symphonic parts were inspired by Lacrimosa, etc. Nowadays we mostly listen to new symphonic metal bands and classical and neoclassical music.

11.What are some of your non musical interests?

Sergey is interested in historical films and books. I'm more into mystery, adventure and fantasy books, tv series and movies. And we both love hiking and cooking. :)

12.Before we wrap up this interview, do you have any final words or thoughts?

Thanks for the interview! And thanks to everyone, who took the time to read it. We are very grateful to all our fans and supporters! Listen to "Hear Me", we made it for you!
